A Philippine mobile number is written 09 plus nine digits at home, and +63 then the same digits without the 0 abroad.

A Philippine mobile number has two common written forms, and a form field accepts one of them. This page, part of the JILI1 mobile browser pillar, sets both out from the National Telecommunications Commission’s numbering plan and the ITU’s international standard.

The two forms side by side

The NTC’s Fundamental Numbering Plan (Memorandum Circular 11-5-94, signed 5 May 1994) sets the national number at 10 digits when the country code is 63, and adopts a national prefix of a single digit 0. It allocates the 09XY series to cellular mobile operators. Putting those together gives the two forms below, where each X is one digit.

FormWritten asDigits after the prefix
National09XX XXX XXXX10, after the 0
International+63 9XX XXX XXXX10, after +63

The ITU’s E.164 recommendation is the international numbering plan, and the ITU’s list gives 63 as the Philippines’ country code. The spaces are only for reading; type the digits without them if a field rejects spaces.

Which form a field expects

A field’s label or hint tells you. If a box shows a +63 flag or a fixed +63 before the cursor, type the 10 digits that start with 9. If it shows no prefix, start with 09.

  1. Look for a country code beside the box.
  2. If one is shown, leave out the 0 and type nine more digits after the 9.
  3. If none is shown, begin with 09.
  4. If an error says the number is invalid, switch to the other form.

Register with phone number on JILI1: there is no field for it

The sign-up form does not ask for a phone number. On 7 October 2026 the desktop dialog had Username, Password and the password again, with no phone, e-mail, name, birthday or referral field. On a phone it adds a tick-box reading “I am 21 years old and agree to the terms & conditions”.

The page on how to register on JILI1 lists the fields and the length rules.

Phone number login and where the number does matter

The login box asks for a username and a password, so a phone number login is not what the lobby shows. Where a number comes up is later: the lobby’s promotions ask members to give a mobile number and bind a wallet. Your wallet is the other place, and GCash’s Terms say its wallet is linked to the user’s mobile SIM card and requires SIM Registration Act compliance.

Under RA 11934, a SIM sold is deactivated until registration, which needs a valid government photo ID, and a registered SIM cannot be sold or transferred without re-registering. Under RA 11202, a subscriber who changes provider can retain the number, and porting must be completely free of charge.

Number trouble that is not a number problem

A form that refuses a correct number may simply not be loading properly. Try these in order.

  1. Reload the page.
  2. If the page is empty, read the blank screen checks on a phone.
  3. If a screen is slow to respond, phone lagging causes, one by one apply.
  4. If a data setting holds back a page, see the data saver mode steps.

FAQ

Do I drop the 0 when I use +63?

Yes. The national numbering plan adds a single-digit trunk prefix 0, and the international form replaces it with the country code 63. So 09 followed by nine digits becomes +63 9 followed by nine more digits.

Does the JILI1 sign-up form ask for my phone number?

No. It asks for a username, a password and the password again, and on a phone a tick-box for being 21 or older. There is no phone, e-mail or referral field.

Can I log in to JILI1 with my phone number?

The lobby's login box asks for a username and a password. A number is not what you type there.

Will my number change if I move to another telco?

Not necessarily. Under RA 11202, a subscriber can keep an existing mobile number when moving provider, and porting must be free of charge.

Heading over to JILI1?

Your account, your balance and every promotion are held by JILI1 itself; this guide holds none of them.
