Published feesThe cash-in page at Maya states a 2 per cent charge on the excess over PHP 8,000 per month combined, with cash-in through selected partners free below that. The GCash schedule above was read directly, whereas that figure, from Maya’s own site, was not re-fetched during verification and so counts for less.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The GCash ceiling is worded as a balance that sits in the wallet at any given moment. Comparing these two numbers head to head is not meaningful, as they measure different things, however often it is presented as one.

Recorded in 2026-09, the figures here belong to a single point in time. Providers change their limits and fees with no warning, so the only up-to-date reference is the provider’s own page.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles real-time for both wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, and by the end of the banking day for PESONet. Waiting time usually originates in an operator’s own review, which may hold a withdrawal before it reaches Maya, so this describes the rail and not the casino.

A per-transaction cap of The Upgraded tier allows PHP 20,000 per transaction to another Maya user and PHP 50,000 per day out via InstaPay applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — Two limits apply: PHP 50,000 monthly for the wallet and PHP 50,000 daily for purchases. InstaPay bank transfers, along with sending to other Maya users, are not available here
  • Upgraded — To get this, supply a video selfie, valid ID and a verified address. A PHP 100,000 monthly wallet limit, PHP 100,000 as the daily purchase ceiling, sends to a Maya user held to PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, plus InstaPay out at PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
  • Super Users — Purchases and sends each have a PHP 500,000 daily limit, while the wallet has a PHP 500,000 monthly limit. Maya has not made public what qualifies an account for this tier
  • Ultimate Users — Limits of PHP 5,000,000 apply to the wallet each month and to purchases and sends each day. Maya has not made public what qualifies an account for this tier

The published ceiling of Per month, Basic allows PHP 50,000, Upgraded allows PHP 100,000, Super Users allow PHP 500,000 and Ultimate Users allow PHP 5,000,000 applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

No gambling clause exists in Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions, read directly; there are general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches and nothing more. Terms for its CREDIT CARD, a product apart from this one, do list ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ as a restricted transaction, stating that the card may be suspended or cancelled. BSP Memorandum M-2025-029, issued in August 2025, also covered Maya, which then took out its in-app gambling and gaming links. Do not blur the two products: what a credit card agreement restricts does not restrict the wallet.
